Friends with Money

I replied a “yes” IMMEDIATELY to the invitation for the media screening (preview). Why the “immediate respond”? well, simply because the introduction caught my attention…it goes,”Four women who have been friends all their lives begin settling into their early middle age with much disparity & confusion….”
(goodness! I’m starting to see myself as the “early middle age” woman.)

There’s so much in the movie that made me laugh & ponder about:

1) early this year, I was telling my friends about quitting my life here & apply to be a maid in Europe countries. Do I really want to be a maid?

2) having a couple of friends full of complaints…am I also an “angry” person? What makes my friends or me so angry about? Won’t you be angry if someone cuts your queue when you’ve been in the line for the longest time? WOn’t you get upset when the driver behind horn & shout at you when it is the car in front who slows down the traffic or hogs the road?

3) do I envy people because they’ve got money? no? should I? How can my friends/colleagues always plan for their next holiday to some beautiful countries & nice resorts? DOn’t they have bills to worry about? WOn’t you be so so so happy if you can donate $10,000 to charity?

4) must I be so affected by how people see me? Ain’t that tiring?
